Yes! We offer fish storage for guests who are fishing in Seward.

Yes, complimentary on-site parking is available for registered guests at each property.
Parking is limited to one vehicle per room whenever possible.
Most properties in Seward, Alaska do not require air conditioning due to the cool coastal climate. If needed, fans are available upon request. Please contact the front desk and our team will be happy to assist based on availability
Yes, we do offer late check-in.
Our front desk hours vary by season, but if you plan to arrive after 9:00 PM, please contact us in advance so we can coordinate your arrival and provide key packet instructions.
Please note:
- Guests who have not checked in by 12:00 AM (midnight) and have not notified us of a late arrival will be considered a no-show.
- No-show reservations will be charged the first night's room rate plus applicable taxes.
If your travel plans change or you experience delays, please let us know so we can make arrangements for your arrival.
No, coffee makers are not provided in guest rooms.
However, we offer 24/7 complimentary coffee in the lobby, including:

Murphy's Alaskan Inn and Van Gilder Hotel do not allow pets
If you plan to bring a pet, please book at Marina Motel and notify us in advance so we can properly assign your room.
At this time, we do not offer a hotel shuttle.
However, the City of Seward offers a free seasonal shuttle that services many local stops, including:
- Stop #7 – Behind Murphy’s Alaskan Inn
- Stop #9 – In front of Van Gilder Hotel
The shuttle also connects to:
- Alaska Railroad Depot
- Cruise ship terminal
- Seward Harbor and downtown
This makes getting around Seward easy and convenient.

Yes! All three properties are conveniently located within minutes of Seward Harbor, downtown shops, restaurants, and tour operators.
Many attractions are within walking distance or accessible via the free city shuttle.
Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- Travelers who cancel 24 hours or more prior to the date of check-in will be charged 10%
of the total booking amount. - Travelers who cancel within 24 hours of the check-in date, including no-shows, will be
charged one night's room rate plus applicable taxes.
